When Voldemort died at the Battle of Hogwarts, he unleashed a curse that backfired on him. He meant to impregnate Minerva McGonagall with his child who he would later be reincarnated in, instead any woman over the age of sixteen who was on the school grounds when he died would become pregnant, but not all with his children.
